Google Services Outage
The services of google including YouTube, Gmail and google
drive have been retrieved for many users, following a global outage that
affected thousands.
Google websites with logging services were affected for an
hour. The disturbance was the incident on the East Coast for parents who were
waking their children up for school. As millions of students rely on online
instructions during the pandemic that includes platforms like google docs. The
company has the most widely used services in the world. YouTube records more
than 2 billion users’ login every month, with people watching billions of hours
of video on its platform. According to the outage monitoring website, more than
12,000 users have been affected in different parts of the world. Outages on
google apps is uncommon but this shutdown has affected all of its popular
services including google meets, google hangouts and Google chats. The
inability to sign in prevented users from accessing other platforms via google,
including video games.
