Gilgit: An American climber who was on a Broad Peak conquer missing has gone missing in Gilgit-Baltistan, a tour organizer said on Sunday.

Alex Goldfarb, a native of the United States and Zoltan Szlanko, of Hungary, had arrived at Pastor Peak, not far from 8,047 high Broad Peak to adapt. Two mountaineers plan to try to climb the Broad Peak in the winter, which is considered dangerous by climbers. On Sunday, tour organizer Asghar Ali Porik informed local officials that Mr Szlanko had returned but Mr Goldfarb had not been seen since Saturday. A team was sent to search for a hiker but could not find him. John Snorri of Iceland, who is currently in the K2 camp before trying to climb the second highest point and Muhammad Ali Sadpara was also part of the investigation.
