A man attacked his parents for delaying marriage

Kasur: A man killed his father and mother because his parents were delaying his marriage due to financial constraints.

Maqsood, a 35 year old man, who ran a general store, stabbed his father to death and injured his mother for delaying marriage. As per police investigation, Maqsood had exchange of words with his father Saleem and mother Shahida. Later in the night, suspect attacked his parents with a knife. On hearing the screams of the couple, neighbors rushed and grabbed the attacker. They called rescue 1122, to shift the injured to the district hospital. Saleem was pronounced dead, whereas, Shahida has been transferred to General Hospital Lahore, for the treatment of serious injuries. The police has arrested the suspect.
