Police seized more kites and sealed production units

Faisalabad: During the fight against kite and flyers manufacturers, police registered 298 cases and sealed 10 factories.

Police seized 156,729 kites, 7521 reel of string and sealed 10 production units. SSP Operations Muhammad Afzal said the Punjab government had banned kite flights from Basant. Following a government directive, police raided crew and string producers during 289 cases. He said police also displayed banners educating the masses about the dangers of kite flying and legal action in violation of the law.
